Stephen Ministry Print E-mail

Stephen Ministries is one-on-one caring ministry for people in need of a listening ear. Stephen Ministers receive 50 hours of training to equip them in their caring ministries.

Stephen Ministry is one way that Good Shepherd fulfills its mission (see mission statement). Through this program we consciously build a caring community, emphasize prayer, equip for service, and provide a channel to witness in Jesus’ name. Stephen Ministries is a tangible way we can live out Jesus’ Great Commandment: “Love your neighbour as yourself,” and his great commission: “Therefore go and make disciples"

If you and someone you know would like to meet with a Stephen Minister please contact Irene or Pastor Kevin at the church office (328.3445)
